12u TB Wins Labor Day Blast Tournament in Pittburgh

The Caz 12U hockey team, led by head coach Brandon Evancho, skated to victory over Labor Day weekend, capturing the championship at the Labor Day Blast Tournament in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The team dominated the competition, going undefeated throughout the tournament and showcasing their exceptional talent and teamwork.

The Caz 12U team faced off against some of the toughest youth hockey teams in the region, but their combination of solid defense, sharp goaltending, and dynamic offensive plays proved too much for their opponents. From the first puck drop to the final buzzer, Caz controlled the pace of play, delivering standout performances in every game.

This Labor Day Blast victory is a huge milestone for the team. With Coach Evancho leading the charge, the Caz 12U hockey team is set for even greater accomplishments as the season progresses.

14u TB Wins Rochester Maverick Tournament

The Caz 14U Travel Hockey team, led by Coach Bill Senay, claimed victory at the Rochester Maverick Tournament. The team showcased their skill and determination throughout the tournament, defeating top competition to bring home the championship. They outscored their opponents 28-3 over the course of the tournament.

With strong performances from the entire roster, Caz 14U proved they are a force to be reckoned with as they continue their impressive season. Congratulations to Coach Senay and the team on this exciting win!

Welcome to The Caz Park Hockey Mite Development Program, where young athletes embark on their exciting journey into the world of hockey! Our program is designed for children aged 5-8, providing a fun, inclusive, and developmental environment for beginners to learn the basics of the game.

Program Overview

Age Group: 5-8 years old
Skill Level: Beginners and those new to hockey

Key Features

  • Fundamental Skills Development: Our experienced coaches focus on teaching the basic skills of hockey, including skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting. Emphasis is placed on mastering these essential skills through engaging and age-appropriate drills.

  • Teamwork and Sportsmanship: Mite House Hockey is not just about learning to play hockey; it's also about learning to be a part of a team. Players will develop a sense of camaraderie and learn the importance of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.

  • Game Play: Players will have the opportunity to participate in structured games, allowing them to apply their skills in a game setting. These games are designed to be fun and educational, emphasizing learning and personal growth over competition.

  • Certified Coaches: Our coaches are USA Hockey certified and bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the rink. They are dedicated to creating a positive and encouraging environment for all players.

  • Equipment: Safety is our top priority. We provide information and guidance on the necessary equipment, ensuring all players are properly outfitted to play hockey safely.

Program Schedule

The Mite House Development Program runs from October through March, with sessions held twice a week in September and October. In November, we will add a third practice. The typical schedule includes:

  • Practice Sessions: Held on Saturday and Sunday mornings, focusing on skill development and drills. We will also have ice on Tuesdays starting in November

Registration

Registration for the Mite House Hockey program is currently open Spaces are limited to ensure a high-quality experience for each player. Early registration is encouraged to secure a spot.

Fees

The program fee includes all practice sessions, gameplay, a team jersey, and end-of-season awards. Additional costs may include personal equipment, which we can help you select and fit.
